The wind was harsh and cold- real cold...at one point I thought man a nice warm cozy studio with coffee and hot chocolate sounds real good right now, but then I thought BORING! This family is so much fun and they deserve better. After a few stops and to much wind I got in my car and prayed all the way to the last stop- Lord please just let something work out I'm in need of a miracle....and it never fails- God is so good. We met in the ally near the new CTA building and the most amazing thing happened. A great guy said, "Would you like to bring the shoot inside- use the whole building." I stood there in shock for a moment and said that would be awesome- and it was! The kids had so much fun exploring - if you haven't had a chance stop by and check it out do it is truly something else. Thanks for a great shoot- it was so much fun even if you are crazy Cat fans!- Tana

Doran's

Ok- I might be a little biased but this is definately one fun and cute family. I did my student teaching under TanDee 5 years ago and it has been so much fun watching her family grow. TanDee is an amazing person- down to earth honest and true (Casey is too just in a different way!) I'm so blessed that I ended up in her room and that we've become good friends....umm such good friends that during the photo shoot I said, "TanDee cute new shoes, did you just get them...." and as the words came out my mouth I was thinking oh no I bet she just got them for her birthday...the birthday I just forgot...oops anyways HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you enjoy the photos- I haven't even had a change to look through all of them, but here are a few that caught my eye.- Tana

sydney & cody

as i am finishing up editing pics & designing albums i keep reflecting on this beautiful wedding. i was very fortunate to been able to spend sydney & cody's wedding day with them. they are two of the most wonderful people. sydney is a beautiful girl both inside and out. cody is this easygoing guy. they compliment each other greatly! i got to know them when i did their engagement session...ever since that time i was really looking forward to photographing their day. they were both excited to get married and start their life together! congrats syd & cody! i truly with you two a lifetime of happiness. -rachel

all the details...sydney has great taste. everything was very classy & elegant.

i love these pictures! this entire wedding party was so fun to get to know. this day however was so bitter cold. we wanted to get some outside shots done but it was sooo COLD... honestly, my camera started to freeze. i quickly had to run over to the car heater and warm it up! i couldn't feel my fingertips and i am sure sydney and her bridesmaids couldn't feel their legs or arms but they rocked the photos anyway. they are one tough & beautiful crew.

flower girls and ring bears are always my favorite. so precious & innocent. of course, i couldn't stop photographing this little one.

this picture cracks me up...everyone was suppose to cover their eyes while the bride and groom kissed! check out the flower girl in the very front of the pic....she just had to have a sneak peek! told you precious & innocent...
